On Friday, April 26, 2013, the Senate honored the life and legacy of honored PLU football coach Forrest “Frosty” Westering with a resolution sponsored by Sen. Bruce Dammeier (Puyallup.)
“Frosty was an inspiration to so many people,” said Dammeier, R-Puyallup. “His legacy can be found throughout the Puget Sound region and all across Washington because he impacted the lives of young men who have gone on to become leaders in communities across the state. It is my honor to pay tribute to a man that upheld the highest integrity and character both on and off the football field.”
